An update on I’m a Scientist
That’s a wrap! Thanks to everyone who contributed to this term’s success. Sadly though, I’m a Scientist Ireland will not be running beyond the end of 2024. The I’m a… projects started in Ireland in 2012, and it’s been another great year. They’ve frequently been there to support students during Tomorrow’s Engineers Week, Science Week, and Maths Week. Unfortunately, Science Foundation Ireland will be ending their funding of I’m a Scientist. This means we’re no longer able to offer the activity in 2025. ✨ 2024 round-up There have been 64 Chats with 39 schools from across Ireland. In these Chats, over 1500 students connected with scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. We saw excellent connections between the students, scientists, and other STEM professionals. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped students see the real-world relevance of their learning.
