I’m a Scientist can benefit all students, and receives funding from charities and funding bodies to provide access to state-maintained schools in the UK, often with the goal of reaching students at underserved schools.
Fees
In order to ensure that we can offer high-quality STEM enrichment to the students who need it most, there is a fee for independent, international, and fee-paying schools. This applies to most of our activities:
1 – 4 chats per terms – £150 per chat
5 – 10 chats per term – £125 per chat
10+ – £100 per chatChats cancelled by the school without 48 hours notice – £50 per chat
Chats cancelled by I’m a Scientist due to fewer than 2 scientists being available – £0
All prices exclude VAT.
How it works
If you are at an independent or fee-paying school and would like to guarantee a place for your students in future activities:
- Email support@imascientist.org.uk with the name and email address of the person to whom we should send the invoice (e.g. bursar), and state that you have the permission of the school to enter into this agreement
- We will email you with details of upcoming activities when booking opens
- At the end of each term, we raise an invoice for fee-paying schools for the number of live Chats booked
