I’m a Teacher ❯This student-led activity connects students with a diverse range of scientists from different specialisms and backgrounds.
It’s a moderated, flexible activity, that is safe, secure and easy to use. It’s suitable for ages from 10 to 18.
Students can:
- Read profiles of scientists working in different careers
- Chat with scientists in 30 minute energetic text-based online Chats, giving them a 1:1 personal experience
- Ask in depth follow-up questions
- Vote for their favourite scientist

- Answer their questions about you, your work, your salary, or any other topic – from robots to pizza toppings!
The activity is flexible and works around your schedule – you choose to take part at times that suit you.
Who can apply? All professionals working in fields related to STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) are welcome to apply.
- You could be working in industry, academia or the public sector
- You could be a technician, an apprentice, or in roles like comms or management
